More travelling

Up at stoopid o'clock and it felt like we hadn't really slept - nerves, heat, crazy noisy women and free porn!? Ask Matt :)

The flight was probably the best one I have ever been on - quality service, tonnes of free booze and a quality movie 'Drømmer' (a Danish 'School of Rock')

As soon as we landed at Kangerlussuaq, the sense of isolation was unbelievable - we really are in the middle of nowhere.

We spent the day unpacking, sorting, packing, bolting, unpacking, weighing, repacking,... All the time wondering (and worrying about) what lies in store.

Matt - the lucky bugger - disappeared in the evening for a free helicopter ride, so the rest of us headed to the airport for a last proper meal and a shower. After which we climbed into our tents to avoid being eaten by the mozzies.
