A fitting homage to its founder, wildlife enthusiast Steve Irwin, Australia Zoo has an amazing menagerie, with Roo Heaven, Koala Walkthrough, a Cambodian-style Tiger Temple, the famous Crocoseum and a dizzying array of critters, including my favourite the hairy-nosed wombat.
