I stepped into the World of Wearable Art gallery in Nelson and my mind boggled at the incredible virtuosity of the creations on display. An exhibition and a design competition, the non-elitist World of Wearable Art encourages people from all walks of life to take art off the walls and create artworks to be worn on the human body. Fashion and art were stitched together in a way that have blown my mind. The "Bizarre Bra" entries were a particular favourite of mine ;-)
Under the same roof are over one hundred mint-condition classic cars and motorbikes. The cars are works of art themselves and this blend of great design was a truly inspiring day out.
